I worked as a summer full-stack developer intern on the Blue Ribbons Review website team. Blue Ribbons Review is a
ASP.NET MVC based website where customers can browse deeply-discounted products found on Amazon.com and also leave reviews for them.
As an intern I completed both front- and back-end stories in the Blue Ribbons Review Code First Entity ASP.NET MVC web application. I compiled a detailed account of some of these
stories in the README file on my project GitHub (here)

My time at PPS began working as clerical support in the Human Resources Dept., before I quickly moved up into a role as an HR Associate in the Benefits Dept.
As a Benefits Associate I worked as a part of a close team to administer and organize benefits programs for 6000+ employees.
I performed technical work inputing a variety of employee benefits data into our HRMS and verifying the accuracy of input and output data.
I also assisted with the implementation of a new Peoplesoft Benefits Administration module (for online enrollment), helping with testing and user-friendliness of the system.
In addition to my technical duties I also worked in a customer service capacity to help explain district benefits, respond to inquiries, and assist and advise employees with benefit plan selection.
As a Guest Services Ambassador I managed affairs at a stadium entry (Gate 5), assisting with directions and ingress and egress for thousands of fans.
I also worked to resolve unexpected issues (ticketing problems, customer complaints, medical and other emergencies) and helped to train many fellow employees working at stadium entry.

I graduated summa cum laude with a bachelors degree from Portland State University in 2015. Studying history and social science helped me work to become an accomplished analytical writer and critical thinker. I also spent time learning about local/global systems and the basics of ArcGIS as a geography minor.
